the Rush Fitness Complex, we are always looking for motivated, driven,
inspired leaders to carry the message of health and fitness to our
staffs and members. Below are the leaders of our Fitness Department
that work tirelessly to help our members reach their fitness goals:
Ashley Pope, BS, Vice President of Fitness Services: How long have you been with the company?
Spring 2001
Where did you go to college and what degree did you graduate with?
The University of Tennessee Knoxville, B.S. in Biomedical Engineering
Did you play any sports in high school or college?
Basketball, Softball, Volleyball in HS; Intramurals in College
Where are you from originally?
Jackson, TN (West TN)
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Being able to go home every single day knowing I made a difference in at least one person’s life in a very significant way
What clubs have you worked at for The Rush?
Walker Springs, Hixson, District Fitness Manager of Triad, currently over all Rush Markets
What hobbies do you have?
Sports
(mainly playing basketball and watching football), spending time with
close friends and my mother, dancing, playing with my dogs, working out
Are there any motto’s or sayings that you like to live by?
Make
sure you are thankful for what you have and live with appreciation for
the opportunities given to you. Tell your friends and your family daily
how much they mean to you.

Mandy Lawson, BS, District Fitness Manager for Knoxville How long have you been with the company?

What hobbies do you have?
I
love working out, playing soccer and sports in general. I also love
spending time with my family and my two dogs; Frank and Fletcher

I
am a very energetic person who is always happy and ready to jump in
with both feet. I am also a very competitive person and hate to lose ☺
Elisabeth Fouts, BS, District Fitness Manager for Asheville
How long have you been with the company?

I
was in The University of Tennessee's Pride of the Southland Marching
Band from 2000-2003. I served as the captain of the Prides' Flag
Corps/Colorguard for the 2002-2003 season. Where are you from originally?
Memphis, TN What do you enjoy most about your job?
I
love to see the results that people get through working out with us. I
enjoy hearing testimonies about how people's lives have changed and
what they can do now that they couldn't before. Their renewed energy
and love of exercise is an inspiration to me. What clubs have you worked at for The Rush?

Working out Are there any nicknames that you go by?
NO
LIMITS! I received that nickname while playing in a flag football game
at UT and went all out trying to catch a player on the other team and
stop her from scoring a touchdown. It was a breakaway and I was the
only one that was still chasing her and I decided there was no way she
was going to score! With everything I had, I lunged and pulled her flag
to stop her and my team immediately gave me the “No Limits” nickname.
BTW, she scored on the next play ☹
Lindsay Manning, BS, District Fitness Manager for Chattanooga How long have you been with the company?

Where did you go to college and what degree did you graduate with?
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, BS in Exercise Science
Did you play any sports in high school or college?
Softball and Cheerleading
Where are you from originally?
Chattanooga, TN
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The
aspect of my job that I love the most would probably be working with
such energetic, success driven people. We have fun at work and we are
all friends/family, not just co-workers! And of course I love helping
people!
What clubs have you worked at for The Rush?
Hixson, Downtown Chattanooga, Cleveland and now overseeing the Fitness Departments in our 4 clubs in Chattanooga, TN
What hobbies do you have?
I love running, working out in general, snowboarding and anything that has to do with being outside

My pride and joy is my Welsh Corgi Dog whose name is Josie. I am also very close with my family.
Are there any motto’s or sayings that you like to live by?
“Everything happens for a reason” and “Remember to laugh at least once a day”
Tara Enoch, MS, District Fitness Manager of the Triad in North Carolina How long have you been with the company?

Samford University, BS in Exercise Science with an Athletic Training concentration / Louisiana State University, MS in Pedagogy

What do you enjoy most about your job?
Changing
our members' lifestyles and motivating them to have a better quality of
life; the opportunities we have to grow in a company that sells a
product everyone needs.
What clubs have you worked at for The Rush?
Farragut,
Brassfield, Randleman, Downtown Winston Salem and now overseeing the
Fitness Departments in our 7 clubs in the Triad area of North Carolina
What hobbies do you have?
I love to do anything that is athletic and competitive. I also love to travel and going to concerts.
